Accessibility at Migration Prospects

Important migration information should be accessible to everyone. This page describes our commitment, the features already in place, and how to request support.

Our commitment

The website targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That includes visible focus indicators, keyboard operability, sufficient colour contrast, clear form labels and error messages, and support for reduced-motion preferences.

Current features

A skip-to-content link on every page, consistent heading structure and landmarks, minimum 44-pixel touch targets, forms with persistent visible labels and linked error summaries, and full functionality at 200% zoom.

Animations honour your system's reduced-motion setting, and no content flashes or autoplays.

Alternative ways to access the service

If any part of the website is difficult to use, you can contact us by email for assisted support, request an interpreter for appointments, or ask for documents in accessible formats. You never need to provide a diagnosis or medical evidence to request support.

Known limitations

Some longer guides do not yet offer downloadable accessible document versions. These limitations are tracked and will be addressed as the site develops.

If you find an accessibility barrier not listed here, please report it through the contact page — reports are acknowledged as soon as practicable.

Request accessibility support

Use the accessibility route on the contact page to tell us what would make the service easier to access. We aim to respond as soon as practicable.
